How BizXHub collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use OmniBridge for Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, DSCO, and Hot Topic.

Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how BizXHub ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by BIZSCAPE CORP, collects, uses, and handles personal data when merchants install and use BizXHub OmniBridge for Shopify (the "App").

The App connects Shopify stores, Amazon Seller Central, DSCO, and Hot Topic to third-party logistics (3PL), warehouse management systems (WMS), and print-on-demand (POD) fulfillment providers.

By installing the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.

Data We Collect

The App accesses the following customer data from your Shopify store solely for the purpose of order fulfillment:

We do not collect payment card details, passwords, or any data beyond what is required to process and fulfill orders.

  • Customer name (first and last name)
  • Customer email address
  • Customer phone number
  • Shipping and billing addresses
  • Order line items (products, quantities, SKUs)
  • Order financial status and fulfillment status
  • Tracking numbers and fulfillment confirmations

How We Use Your Data

All data collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:

We do not sell, rent, share, or use customer data for marketing, advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than order fulfillment.

  • Routing orders to your designated 3PL, WMS, or POD fulfillment partner
  • Generating shipping labels and packing slips at fulfillment facilities
  • Syncing fulfillment status and tracking numbers back to your Shopify store
  • Managing inventory levels across fulfillment locations
  • Providing operational support and resolving fulfillment issues

Data Storage & Security

All data is stored securely in MongoDB Atlas and hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. We implement the following security measures:

  • Encryption of data at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL)
  • Encrypted data backups with point-in-time recovery
  • Separation of test and production environments
  • Role-based access controls limiting staff access to personal data
  • Strong password requirements and access logging
  • Security incident response policy
  • Data loss prevention strategy

Data Retention

We retain customer data only for as long as necessary to fulfill orders and comply with legal obligations:

  • Active order data is retained for the duration of the fulfillment workflow
  • Buyer personally identifiable information (name, address, email, phone) is anonymized within 30 days of order fulfillment
  • Non-PII order records (order IDs, status, tracking numbers) may be retained for up to 12 months for operational auditing and dispute resolution
  • Upon a merchant uninstalling the App, all customer personal data is anonymized within 30 days
  • Upon receiving a customer data erasure request, personal data is anonymized within 30 days

Your Rights & Data Requests

In compliance with Shopify's privacy requirements and applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), we support the following data subject rights:

These requests are processed automatically through Shopify's mandatory compliance webhook system. To submit a request, contact us at support@bizxhub.io.

  • Data access requests — customers may request a report of data we hold about them
  • Data erasure requests — customers may request deletion of their personal data
  • Shop data deletion — upon uninstall, all shop data is anonymized automatically

Third-Party Sharing

Customer data is transmitted to fulfillment partners (3PL, WMS, POD providers) designated by the merchant, solely for the purpose of fulfilling that merchant's orders. We do not share data with any other third parties.

All data transmission to fulfillment partners occurs over encrypted connections (TLS). We require fulfillment partners to handle data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Cookies & Tracking

The App is a backend integration and does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any client-side analytics. The App has no merchant-facing or customer-facing UI.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify merchants of significant changes via email to the address associated with their Shopify account. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
